USPS VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY

Selected in a design-build competition, this project was executed from start of design to occupancy in only eighteen months.  The building is a two-level 42,000-sf vehicle maintenance facility integrated with a six-level 650-space parking garage, that also provides fleet management offices and personnel support spaces.  The facility features include a large paint booth, automated wash, body shop, light duty bays with overhead trolley-mounted diagnostic equipment, heavy duty bays with an overhead crane, refueling stations, battery/transmission and tire repair areas, and parts storage.
