WHATCOM COMMUNITY COLLEGE INSTITUTIONAL MASTER PLAN

Bellingham, Washington  |  Whatcom Community College
Completed:  2015

As a part of Whatcom Community College’s overall plan to improve its facilities and services to students and the diverse communities it serves, the college engaged Schreiber Starling Whitehead Architects to develop an Institutional Master Plan (IMP) for its Bellingham campus.

As the campus has grown since its initial construction at the current site in 1987, the administration has recognized the need to upgrade existing buildings, as well as to develop dedicated facilities to meet the current and future needs of today’s student population.  The primary goal of this plan is to provide a structure that will guide WCC in the future development of the campus with regards to planning for facility renovations, replacement, and continuing growth over the next several years.
