  • The Kitsap Sun spotlighted the need for skilled labor on the Kitsap Peninsula and the opportunities the renovated Olympic College facility will provide to the local trades industry.

Olympic College’s Bremerton Building 14, which houses the college’s welding and advanced manufacturing training programs, is getting a facelift. A major exterior and interior renovation is underway at Building 14 that will correct facility and space deficiencies, as well as incorporate two additional classrooms via an addition.

The renovated building will reflect the nature of the building program, as well as mix elements of the existing construction with the aesthetic vocabulary that has been established on campus. The design will also create a stronger connection to the main campus circulation and adjacent plaza, better tying the building to the rest of campus.

The renovation is expected to be completed in early 2024.
